On average 100 IRF trailers per day cross the English Channel; most of them by ferry departing from Vlaardingen. The trailers are on- and offloaded from the vessel by a so called tugmaster (unaccompanied traffic) and parked on a predefined spot on the quay in a safe and fenced area. Once customs requirements have been fulfilled, our drivers will be able to locate the trailers quickly. The short sea solution is efficient and fast what makes it very competitive.
